Better known as a prog rock band, Spectrum famously had a national No. 1 hit, I’ll Be Gone (Someday I’ll have money) in 1971. Mike Rudd’s Spectrum Plays the Blues has a couple of blues albums under its belt, with a third recorded with the late Bill Putt to come.
