'Summer is all about relaxing and taking life easy, and Eli Wolfe's self-titled debut provides the anthems.' Drum Media Sydney
Eli Wolfe is one of Australia's newest and most unique emerging talents. On stage, he creates a colourful and mesmerising musical experience, inviting the audience in with smooth, enchanting vocals and beautifully crafted, poetic songs. A brilliant guitarist, Eli also captivates with his unconventional style on 6 and 12-string acoustic guitars, painting images with sound which also adds a meditative quality to his performance.
Eli is a rare breed; one of those of all-round creatives who can choose from many mediums to tell a story. With a love for language and audio-visual communication, Eli brings some of these mediums together with a brand new self-titled debut album.
The colourful album features his detailed illustrations which further explores the messages and themes in the songs and music. As an artist, Eli has exhibited his intricate ink illustrations, quirky paintings and digital animations; and creates conceptual films to screen on stage at some live shows.
In the first half of 2011, Eli showcased at Canadian Music Week followed by two tours across Canada, performed in the US and France, and toured with a platinum-artist in Germany. He now returns to Australia for his national album launch tour across the country.
Well-suited to life on the road, Eli last year clocked up over twenty-five thousand kilometres in the tour van he painted with his own brightly coloured artwork, performing over 80 shows across every Australian every state and territory. More recently he's won over hearts and minds with moving festival performances, including at the One Movement for Music Musexpo Industry Showcases in Perth, Sydney's Australia Day Festival of the Voice, the National Australian Blues Festival and WA's Nannup Music Festival.
